The elders have walked the path you are walking now and can tell you the outcome of whatever you are doing, even before you start.

You could think that your talent and knowledge are enough to make you successful, but an elder will point your attention to a character flaw that you must get rid of if you really want to be successful. -Proverbs 30:12

When you're join any organisation, respect those who have been there long before you; not neglecting advise. This will give you and unparalleled advantage over your peers in the journey of life. Through the help of the Holy Spirit of wisdom. -Isaiah 11:12

“The elders in your life are there to guide you with their experiences. Listen to them and honour them.”

Memorise: Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God: -Exodus 18:19

It is a must to bear fruit if you want to continue to be a part of the Vine. -John 15:2

Backsliding as a believer does not only start with drawing away from God and committing sin. Refusal to preach the gospel is also a form of backsliding. -John 15:6

Another reason you must win souls is so that your prayers can be answered. -John 15:16

“Pick up your phone and share the gospel with at least one person through a phone call, text message or any other means.”

Memorise: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. -John 15:2

Doing God's work is compulsory for all His children; this simply means that you have no choice in this matter. -John 15:16

When it comes to doing the work of God, you must not see yourself as volunteer. -1 Corinthians 9:16

You MUST preach the gospel. It is not a piece of advise but a command. -Matthew 28:19

Memorise: I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. -John 9:4

There are many people walking around with curses that they do not have to carry. (Curses placed by men can be cancelled).

All you need is a person with a higher power and anointing to break the curse, because the anointing breaks yokes. -Isaiah 10:27

Beyond going to any man or woman of God to cancel curses on your behalf, you must seek God's anointing as well.

“Those who remain close to God can never be cursed. Numbers 24”

Memorise: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: -Galatians 3:13

Your hunger for God should be such that you won't even remember to eat when it is time to seek Him. (You should be so hungry for God that you are willing to risk your life just to know Him more.)

What exactly are the things you are hungry for? Food? Fame? Money? Put them all aside and let your hunger and thirst everyday be for God. -Matthew 6:33

Beloved, please get your priorities right. Davaid, in our Bible reading today, said that his soul will follow hard after God. _Can you say the same for yourself?

Prayer Point: Father, let there be an insatiable hunger for You in my heart

Memorise: O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. -Psalm 63:1

Don't go for Christian programmes to look for comfort; there ae no big men in the house of God. -Jammes 2:1-9

You have to seek God diligently if you really want to get to know Him. When you're seeking His face concerning something, how comfortable you feel should not be a hindrance. -Isaiah 55:6

If you have been seeking Him concerning a matter and He hasn't shown up, go to a fellowship where people are gathered in His name and remind Him of His promise in Matthew 18:20

“Sometimes you may have to choose between getting your miracle and comfort - I hope you choose wisely.”

Memorise: LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. -Psalm 26:8

If you go to church to flaunt your social status, there is something deeply missing in your Christian life.

It is when we suffer with Jesus that we can be glorified with Him.
Paul said, "Let no man trouble me, I bear in my body the mark of Jesus Christ" (Galatians 6:17)
In other words, he was saying, "I have scars to show that I suffered with Him."

If you, however, are among those denying Him, remember that He said that He will also dn such persons before His Father in Heaven. -Matthew 10:33

Memorise: But Jesus answerd and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. -Matthew 20:22

Prayer Point: Lord, I want to know the fellowship of Your suffering. Please let me partake in Your suffering.

When you are baptised in the Holy Spirit, you speak in tongues, but speaking in tongues is not enough; you need to be baptised by fire too.

Every force that is in heaven, on earth, or underneath the earth, is subjected to that power that raised Jesus from the dead.

Once you know that power that raised Jesus from the dead, no witch, wizard, demon, or principality will be able to overcome you. You will begin to command demons, and they will obey speedily. -Ephesians 2:6

Memorise: And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, -Ephesians 1:19

Prayer Point: Lord, baptise me with the Holy Spirit and fire. Please let me know that power that raised You from the dead.

Total surrender only becomes possible when you truly know God, as you should.

You can't know God through preaching, you can only know Him if He reveals Himself to you. -Matthew 16:17

“Today's topic is actually the prayer of people who feels that they don't know God enough and want to know Him more.”

Prayer Point: Lord, reveal yourself to me, I want to know You.

Memorise: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; -Philippians 3:10

Death is not the end of our existence, but rather a transition into another state.

Our good works play a great role in showing our faith and commitment to God. -James 2:15-17

Seize every opportunity that God brings your way to do good to all men.

“What will people remember your for after you've left the earth? Even more importantly: When your time is up on earth, what account will you give to God of how you spent your life? -Hebrews 9:27”

Memories: The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. -Proverbs 10:7

When we live for ourselves alone, we negate the purpose of our existence. A person that lives for God would not abuse any privilege opportunity.

Those who are selfish short-change themselves without knowing it.

Begin to live beyond yourself, and you will have the fullness of God's grace to divinely prosper, both spiritually and physically.

Memorise: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. -Revelation 4:11
