3 Keypoints From: Choose Your Partners Wisely

  • Where you sow will determine what you will reap. (Mark 4:3-8) A barren soil can be a person, an organisation, or even a house.
  • If you partner with a wicked man, your efforts will be wasted because God is angry with the wicked every day (Psalm 7:11).
  • A disobedient fellow is another dangerous person to partner with. One will be sowing on a concrete sowing on concrete ground because disobedience shuts the heavens over a person.

  • When you join yourself to a disobedient person, you will suffer losses. (Jonah 1:1-5)

PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me not to associate with unfruitful partners.”

MEMORISE: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (Psalm 1:1)

    3 Keypoints From: Open Heavens

  • The way to experience open heavens, as seen in Deuteronomy 28:1-2, is to hearken diligently unto the word of the Lord and to observe and do all that He commands.
  • When you live a holy life and do the will of God, the heavens will open over you. When the heavens are opened over a person, everything he or she touches will begin to prosper.
  • Prayer is another thing that causes a believer to walk under open heavens. (Luke 3:21) Spending time in fervent prayers will give you results that others do not have (James 5:16).

  • PRAYER POINT: Father, I pray for the grace to pray fervently and obey You diligently so that I can live under open heavens, in Jesus’ name.

MEMORISE: “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.” – Deuteronomy 28:12

3 Keypoints From: No More Labouring (2)

  • Work is easier when there are results.
  • When God speaks concerning a matter, results that human efforts cannot produce are achieved.
  • God’s voice brings rest, but you won’t enjoy that rest until you obey all He says.

  • “When you hear God’s voice, obey Him, and leave the rest to Him because your rest from labour and toil lies in your obedience.”

MEMORISE: “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” – Exodus 33:14

3 Keypoints From: No More Labouring (1)

  • There is a difference between working diligently and labouring.
  • You can’t call a manager a labourer; both of them go to their workplaces in the morning, but one goes to work, and the other goes to labour.
  • rebuild your connection with God, and He will put an end to fruitless labours in your life forever.

  • “A manual labourer has to work very hard to get little pay. Whereas, Even though a manager arrives at the office very early every day and works hard, he or she gets paid something worthwhile for his or her efforts.”

An active connection with God will ensure that you do not experience fruitless labour.

MEMORISE: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

  • Father, thank You for Your church. Despite all the schemes of the enemy, Your church is still marching on.

2 Keynotes From: Like The Day Of Pentecost (7)

  • Every believer is qualified to work miracles (Mark 16:17-18), but the one who will create the atmosphere that will host the Holy Spirit will work special miracles and cause a revival like what happened on the day of Pentecost.
  • I have good news for ministers who will create the kind of atmosphere that will bring about the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit in their churches or fellowships – their ministries will grow exponentially.

  • PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to create the kind of atmosphere in which Your Holy Spirit loves to dwell, in Jesus’ name.

MEMORISE: Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. (Acts 5:15)

4 Keypoints From: Like The Day Of Pentecost (6)

  • Elijah’s prayer that caused fire to fall from heaven was majorly filled with praises. In the atmosphere of praise, God answers prayers by fire. (1 Kings 18:30-39)
  • Like Elijah, repair the broken altars of prayer, praise, and worship, tarry in setting the stage for His fire (Acts 2:1-2), We cannot be disorderly and expect God’s fire to fall.
  • The people poured a scarce commodity (12 barrels of water) in preparation for rain. Wherever God sees unusual sacrifice, He sends His fire. (2 Chronicles 5)
  • God’s fire of preservation, increase, and unusual miracles falls in atmospheres of prayer and sacrificial giving. (2 Chronicles 7:1)

  • MEMORISE: Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house. (2 Chronicles 7:1)

3 Keypoints From: Like The Day Of Pentecost (5)

  • Considering that on that day, there was a sound of a mighty rushing wind (Acts 2:1-2). In (Exodus 14:21-28), when the wind blew, a way appeared where there was none before.
  • By divine provision, there is always more than enough where the wind of the Spirit blows. (Numbers 11:31-32)
  • You will experience transformation when the wind of God’s Spirit blows as it did over the formlessness of the earth and transformed it into a beautiful place (Genesis 1:1-3).

  • “I decree that you will receive a fresh visitation of the wind of God this season, in Jesus’ name.”

PRAYER POINT: Father, please let the wind of your Spirit blow in my life and ministry, in Jesus’ name.

MEMORISE: The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. (Job 33:4)

3 Keypoints From: Like The Day Of Pentecost (4)

  • People who complain and murmur cannot host God’s presence. When the Israelites murmured, it displeased God, and at some point, His consuming fire fell among them. (Numbers 11:1)
  • When you praise God amidst difficulties, He brings solutions that men cannot deny, giving you blessings that extend to those around you. (Acts 16:25-26)
  • God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3); He comes wherever He is exalted and extolled.

  • “If you are God’s child and He always hears praises around you, He will definitely stay with you.”

MEMORISE: Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; (Psalm 149:6)

3 Keypoints From: Like The Day Of Pentecost (3)

  • If we truly want a revival in our generation, we cannot watch weak believers remain in their weak states.
  • We must sharpen each other (Proverbs 27:17) such that the ‘weakest’ among us will be working miracles.
  • If we’re really united, we won’t look away when we see a brother dozing when he should be praying; we will hold his hand to encourage him to pray.

  • “If someone’s fire seems to be dying, pray for the fellow rather than use him or her as a bad example to others to make yourself look righteous.”

MEMORISE: Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (Ephesians 5:21)

3 Keypoints From: Like The Day Of Pentecost (2)

  • If we want to see the power of the Holy Spirit in action, there must be love and unity in the Body of Christ, irrespective of denominations.
  • God commands a blessing when people are united. When there is genuine love and unity among the members of a church or fellowship, there is absolutely no doubt that every member of that fellowship will be blessed.
  • We cannot attack one another and expect God to dwell among us. (Galatians 5:15) Many believers have injured other members of the Body of Christ with their words and actions.

  • “The body of Christ must unite. Gossiping, backbiting, and unhealthy competition among denominations must stop if we want to experience a true revival by the Holy Spirit.”

PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to love others as myself and let there be unity among Christians.

MEMORISE: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (Romans 12:5)
