4 Keypoints From: Submission vs Cooperation

  • Like every other gift from God, marriage comes with a manual -the word of God; detailing how a husband and wife should relate with each other. (Ephesians 5:22-33)
  • Cooperation is agreeing with your husband because you want the same things. Submission, however, is complying with his wish even when you don't agree.
  • Submission does not mean slavery or servitude, rather, it is a voluntary act of respect and obedience from a wife to her husband as the head of the home.
  • When you obey your boss in the office, it is not because you are a slave, it is because there is a hierarchy that must be followed for things to go smoothly in the office.

  • “Submission is not slavery; it is a sign of wisdom for a successful marriage.”

Memorise: For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: (1 Peter 3:5)

3 Keypoints From: Romance Is Not Ungodly

  • Anointing does not reduced the need for romance in marriage. (Genesis 26:8) Don't become too rigid in your marriage; don't have more fun elsewhere without your spouse.
  • Make the times that you and your spouse spend together so much fun that you are always looking forward to seeing each other again.
  • Your marriage can be like heaven on earth if you and your spouse are deliberate about remaining the lovebirds that you were when you first got married.

  • “Your spouse is still the same fellow you were very fond of, and the things you loved in him or her are still there. Don't let all the cares of this life distract you from the gems in your spouse.”

Memorise: Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. (Song of Solomon 1:2)

3 Keypoints From: Waiting On The Lord

  • What you do while waiting is more important than what you are waiting for itself.
  • Finding alternatives to God in order to shorten a waiting season always ends in regrets.
  • Every alternative to God gives permission to the devil to oppress you.

  • “The reason we have many internet fraudsters today is that many young people don't want to go through the correct process of making money. Exchanging their soul for it. Matthew 16:26 says that this is foolish.”

Memorise: But thy that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

    3 Keypoints From: True Prophecies

  • Whenever a prophecy is given based on feelings, that prophecy is false, and the Bible describes people who do this as fools. (Ezekiel 13:3)
  • A true prophecy is an echo of what God has said. If it doesn't echo the word of God in the Scriptures, it is false.
  • You must become comfortable with keeping quiet when God is quiet. If you are truly His mouthpiece, when His mouth is shut, yours will be also.

  • “Any prophecy that does not echo God's word is fake. Let it not come out of your mouth.”

Memorise: Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! (Ezekiel 13:3)

3 Keypoints From: Frail In God′s Hands

  • As humans, we have the tendency to believe that we are strong and that we are in control, whereas, God is the one that upholds us. (Isaiah 41:8-10)
  • No matter how great and powerful a fellow is, God can humble him or her in the twinkling of an eye. (Daniel 4:31-33, Acts 12:23)
  • Always live conscious of your frailty in God's hands; don't ever think you are in control. Just like pencil in the hand of the creator; He can do with you as He pleases.

  • Prayer Point: Father, please let me never forget how week and helpless I am in your hands.”

Memorise: My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it als is gone from me. (Psalm 38:10)

2 Keypoints From: Don′t Try To Outrun God

  • The pursuit of the vanities of this world has robbed many people of far greater and blessings from God.
  • God knows your desires; in fact, it is likely that He is the one who put them there. He know the best time and ways to accomplish them, so don't try to act smarter than the one who made your brain.
  • Follow God's timing; don't try to outrun Him. *(Ecclesiastes 3:11)

“It is not bad to want to achieve something great or pursue a good cause, even God delights in our well-being and prosperity (Psalm 35:27, 3 John 1:2), but if you try to outrun God, you may never achieve that goal, and worse still, you may pay for it with something very precious to you.”

Memorise: A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he tat maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. (Proverbs 28:20)

4 Keypoints From: Commit It To God

  • There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that is committed to God that does not turn out well.
  • If you really want to be successful, place all your plans in the hands of God. (Proverbs 3:5)
  • Make it clear to God that He is the owner of your career, business, ministry, and every other aspect of your life, and He will make sure that you have all-round success.
  • This means that when He gives you instructions, you must obey. (Some of these instructions may not make sense to you.)

  • PRAYER POINT: Father, please take complete charge of all that concerns me from today, in Jesus’ name.”

MEMORISE: Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Proverbs 16:3)

3 Keypoints From: Vessels Unto Dishonour

  • People choose for themselves if they will be vessel unto honour or unto dishonor, based on their behaviour toward God and His instructions.
  • Many people commit sin purposely, trusting that when they ask for mercy, God will have mercy. Trying to make a fool out of the Most High God, and becomes vessel unto dishonor.
  • Even if a Christian gives a big sacrifice or worships God deeply, if his or her heart is still in a sinful state, the wages of sin remain death. (Romans 6:23)
  • Don’t toy with sin, and don’t try to play on God’s intelligence so that you don’t end up like Saul. (1 Samuel 15:28)

  • “Do you still indulge in the things that God has been warning you about? Beware, so that you don’t become a vessel unto dishonour.”

MEMORISE: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (Psalm 51:17)

    3 Keypoints From: God′s Commandments

  • When you disobey God, you are actually hurting yourself; He remains God whether you obey Him or not.
  • When God gives you an instruction, no matter how difficult it seems, you stand to gain a lot more from obeying it.
  • To justify any blessing that He wants to give you, God wants you to obey HIm out of your free will.

  • “Never miss an opportunity to show God that your free will is for Him.”

Memorise: For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. (1 John 5:3)

3 Keypoints From: The Power Of Service

  • When there is an opportunity to serve God through a prophet that you are sure is sent by Him, no matter how small the service may be, don't let the opportunity pass you by.
  • You might have prayed for certain things and not received them yet, but offering your service to God through a prophet could bring them to you immediately. (2 Kings 4:8-17)
  • God shows appreciation to those that serve Him, and His ministers ought to do the same; not taking anyone's willingness to serve God through them for granted.

  • “God never ignores a genuine heart of service to His representatives on earth.”

Memorise: He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. (Matthew 10:41)

    2 Keypoints From: Receiving Prophecies

  • When a prophecy seems too good to be true or difficult to believe, just keep quiet; don't say anything against the prophecy or you may never see it fulfilled. (2 Kings 7:1-17)
  • If your mouth and actions don't negate God's promises for you, no matter how unbelievable those promises sound, you will see them come to pass.

  • What we say and/or do after receiving a prophecy matters. When God says something that seems too good to be true, repeat it with your mouth , and you will see it come to pass.”

Memorise: Despise not prophesyings. (1 Thessalonians 5:20)
