  • If you can genuinely submit to authority and put away all your achievements, then God will give you authority and influence. -1 Kings 19:19-21, 2 Kings 13:14
  • Jesus Christ; gave us an example by being so powerful, yet acting so weak for the good of others and fulfilment for God's will. -Philippians 2:5-8

    3 Keypoints From: Real Promotion

  • When human being promotes you, don't rejoice too much because it is temporary.
  • When God sees someone willing to do His will, He promotes that fellow to a position of authority. -Acts 13:22
  • If you truly want to be promoted by God, then you must be sold out to doing His will

  • “If God promotes somebody because the fellow started in humility and submission to Him, but along the line begins to disregard His instructions, that fellow would be demoted immediately. -1 Samuel 15:24-28

  • When you met Christ, you were in your raw state, contaminated and unuseful until He purifies you with the fire.
  • Your inadequacies (such as fear) will be consumed (replaced with boldness) by the refining fire of Holy Spirit. -Acts 2:1-47

  • Once the devil sees you carrying that weakness around, he know he now has a joker card to use in bringing you down later. He will capitalize on it.
  • It doesn't matter how many good virtues you have or how strong you are in the Spirit; if there is just one weakness, it can destroy you completely. -Hebrews 12:1
  • A little contamination destroys purity. -That little anger or lust would later kill you, if you don't kill it now. -Song of Solomon 2:15

    2 Keypoints From: A Pure Heart

  • Once ay part of your heart is given to any other object apart from God, that object is a contaminant and must must be removed immediately.
  • You can be contaminated by other people's sin when you partake in it. (e.g watching pornography; or when someone to lie to cover-up for your entire group). -1 Timothy 5:22

  • If you are found amongst them, you are likely like them already! Run away from the 'congregation of the dead'. -Proverbs 21:16

  • Double-mindedness essentially makes you an hypocrite, a sign of an impure heart who eventually won't see the Lord. (won't make it to heaven). -James 4:8, Matthew 5:8

  • By dressing rough or unkept (like wearing "crazy jeans") you made mad people your role model. Dress the way you want to be addressed.
  • Parents that allows or encourage their children to dress ungodly doesn't regard God highly. (It shows that you would rather offend God than discipline your children).
  • It's a destructive mentality for an husband to support public indecent dressing, for their wife to look sexy. Your wife is private, not for sale, shouldn't be displayed cheaply, advertising herself to invitations.

  • “If you are a child of the King of Kings, you should dress as such.”

    Memorise: In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearl, or costly array; -1 Timothy 2:9
