Determine to stop being an ordinary Christian, but one with power to do the impossible.

To get power from God, you need to be totally sold out to Him. -Galatians 2:20

You can't expect God to use you mightily to heal the sick and command demons while you still sin, tell lies sometimes, or your money/resources are too precious for God to take from you.

The great things that God can do through you outweighs the pain of your total surrender.

“Take your focus off the things of this world that distract you and surrender completely to God. Pray without ceasing, study your Bible regularly, fast often – just go all in with God.”

MEMORISE: And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. -2 Corinthians 10:6

Jesus may be preparing a mansion with the name of someone on it, but that fellow may eventually not stay in that mansion while someone else takes his or her place. -Revelation 3:11

Starting a race is of little consequence; what really matters is if you reach the finish line.

Memorise: My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. -Job 27:6

Father, whatever price I have to pay, don’t let me lose my crown. Don’t let me miss heaven, Lord.

God can trust you with His secrets when you become extremely close to Him. -Revelation 1:1-20

When you describe somebody as a Christian fanatic, it simply means he loves the Lord more than you.

“When you truly love God, you become willing to seek and fulfill His primary heart desire which is to bring souls into His kingdom.”

MEMORISE: Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. -John 13:23

The love Peter had for Jesus was like a magnet drawing him closer to the Lord daily. -Mark 14:54

Those who become God’s favourites are people who are not after what God can give them but after God Himself. (Peter was very much interested in the Lord Himself, not what the Lord could give.)

The Lord will not make you His favourite when He sees that your belly is actually your god and not Him. -Philippians 3:19

Do you really love God - regardless of what He can give you?

MEMORISE: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. -Matthew 16:18

The Lord Jesus had a special inner circle amongst His disciples and loved one of them specially; His favourites.

The question you should rather be asking therefore is "How do I become one of His favourites?"

Clearly (from Acts 10:34-35), God looks out for certain things in people before He makes them His favourites.

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. -Acts 10:34-35”

MEMORISE:As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. -Romans 9:13

Prayer: Father, even if You will only pick one person as Your favourite, please let it be me.

Once you are in the limelight, you have to become extra careful. You have to watch your every move because people are looking at you.

When you are famous, it is as if you are on the high table everyday of your life, no freedom to do things you want to do without anyone looking at you.

People tend to forget that famous people are human beings too, expecting more from you than the average person and if care is not taken, you would not want to disappoint them.

“Those who chase after people knowing and liking them all the time are likely to get into trouble. King Saul got into trouble with God because he wanted to look good in the eyes of the people. -1 Samuel 15:24-30”

Fame may come as you fulfil your assignment on earth, but it should not be your goal. The only fellow you should live to please is God.

MEMORISE: Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God. -1 Samuel 15:30

Not every Prophet, Pastor or evangelist will make it to heaven. So, don't be surprised to hear of certain "men of God" doing some ungodly things. -Matthew 7:21

Some people teach that once you are saved, you are saved forever (that you may live like a child of the devil and you would still make it to heaven). That is the devil’s lie. -Philippians 2:12

Don’t think that because you have done many great things for God, you now have a sure ticket to heaven.

You must remain standing until the end if you would make it to heaven.

MEMORISE: Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: -Romans 9:27

Every Scripture is written by the Holy Spirit and every bit of it must be embraced.

The Bible does not say anywhere that "God will understand" when you sin, but rather that He hates it. -Psalm 5:4, 2 Timothy 2:19

If you are lukewarm, God pushes you out of Himself forcefully and if you are away from God, then you are with the devil. -Revelation 3:16

“If you jettison holiness during tough times (holy only when it is convenient for you), then you are not a child of God.”

MEMORISE: But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. -Matthew 15:9

The holy nature of God makes it impossible for Him to lie, his words are forever settled, hence you can rely on them. -Psalm 119:89

The bible was written by the hands of men, inspired by the Holy Spirit of Truth (Jesus. -John 14:6, 1 John 4:6)

Unless you believe the entire Scripture, you are not even saved. -John 1:11-12

There are lots of blessings, readily available to believers for taking. e.g:

-By his stripes we were healed. -1 Peter 2:24
-You shall know the truth, the truth shall make you free. -John 8:33
-Whoever the Son sets free shall be free indeed. -John 8:36
...

“Do you really believe in God's word? If you do, then you will live strictly according to it.”

Memorise: God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? -Numbers 23:19

A higher level of worrying than for your basic needs is fearing the unknown (what if i lost all i have , what if.....). Forgetting that God is all-sufficient (Genesis 17:1), He has more than enough to supply. -Philippians 4:19

If your riches are from God, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about; otherwise, be afraid of the accompanying sorrows. -Proverbs 10:22

Worrying about what will happen when you get old is pointless; only look forward to goodness and mercy all the days of your life -Psalm 23:5-6

Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

“As long as you are on the side of the Lord, you don't need to worry.”

Memorise: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. -1 Peter 5:7
