The devil cannot flee from you if you have not submitted totally to God. James 4:7 says clearly that you should submit yourself unto God, then resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jesus will not force Himself into your heart unless you open the door to Him voluntarily. If He keeps knocking on a person’s heart and the person keeps refusing to open, a day will come when it will be too late for the person to open his or her heart to Him again.
While some are even church workers and ministers, but they are really not different from people in the world. When a person truly submits to the Lordship of Jesus, He becomes the supreme authority over such a fellow’s life.
“When darkness reigns in a person’s life, failure, defeat, sorrow, retrogression, and every evil thing will fill such a fellow’s life. Can you truly say that Jesus, the Light, is in total control of your life?”
